Hello 80/90s chicks! Went to a church sale this weekend hoping to find some 80/90s goodness but only found these few things. I got all of these hallmark items for $2 and they are all new in package. I love the postalettes that look like a jewelry box they are so pretty I think those are from the 70s along with the other not cards with envelopes.       The other item I found has to be straight from the 80/90s. It is a set of secret admirer cards, there is valentines day, birthday, easter and so much more. You can tell the illustrations on these are from the 80/90s and I love them. Of course they are going to go in my binder soon as I get a chance to work on them I can't wait to share more of that soon!

Ebay Finds-Magic Trolls Fashion Teens-Class Act

Image
Hello 80/90s chicks!! Today is a neat ebay find, as you can tell I have decided to collect trolls again, I mean why not? As a kid i loved the applause magic troll dolls, mainly the babies. I had no idea they had teens. I got this girl for just under $9 with shipping in the box. She was missing her jewelry surprise (bummer) but other than that she is complete. I seen her selling in box on ebay for $37 so I am happy with my $9 purchase. I love that she is totally 90s from her outfit to her card board accessories. This did take me back opening her up and playing with her hair. I have purchased a few more magic trolls babies so be on the lookout for those.

Thrift Haul-Trolls-Stickers-Diary Locks-Pencils

Image
Hello 80/90s chicks! I am finally doing a thrift haul for you! I have been saving these up for a month or so and can't wait any longer to share them with you. Most of the items came from the salvation army because my goodwill doesn't usually have much vintage items.        To start off this post is a small cabbage patch doll mystery box (this is new but it fits with the retro theme right? it was 1.99), then there was a 7 inch clown troll (he is bigger than your standard troll, he was .59, no hat but that is ok). Then I got the wrapping paper (gonna try to make stickers out of it) and the stickers for .59 for every thing! Next is the diary lock and key sets (I had to have these they brought me back to my diary days) for .39 and the two valentines day pencils for .29 for both. and the pencil box and halloween pencil for .49.

How I am going to display some of my vintage stickers that are not on their backings anymore

Image
Hello 80/90s chicks! I guess maybe I should have made this a sticker blog LOL but I do have other ideas and they are coming soon. I just thought maybe people would like ideas on how to display stickers that have been previously put in a sticker book or that was cut from their packaging and hard to display.        First are the supplies I am using, I ordered some holographic origami paper off of amazon (thought it would be easy to remove the stickers if I ever need to), scissors, tweezers and of course the stickers. I started off by measuring out a 1 1/2 in but 1 1/2 in square then I cut it out and also cut the other side to make a 3in by 2in piece of paper. Then using my tweezers I pulled the stickers off of their backing (I love these snow animal sandy lion stickers). It didn't take long to realize that the stickers had lost their adhesive stick so I put them through my xyron sticker maker and they stick amazing now. I ended up having to use the bigger sheet but I like how i

Sticker Haul-#4-Vintage Post-it-Stickopotamu-American Greetings-Full Packs

Image
Hello 80s/90s chicks! I found another gem on ebay, this is a lot of all vintage stickers, new in pack too. I had to have these once I seen the neon mickey mouse ones. I went right back to 7th grade, oh my gosh that was the year neon mickey was huge and all my school supplies was that theme.       I was like oh yes I am getting those stickers. Of course the price made the decision pretty easy, it was only 7.99 with shipping (excuse me what?) Yes, that is right less than $8 for all of these gems. I bought it for the mickey's but the shamrock and lightening bugs are great too! The shamrocks have lost their adhesive but that is just fine, a trip through my xyron and they will be good as new.
